This work-from-home-friendly 3BR/2.5BA lake house offers direct access to Candlewood Lake, with breathtaking views from every front-facing room, as well as from the spacious deck and porch.

The neighborhood around our home is a quiet, scenic area near Candlewood Lake, offering lake access, beach rights, and a friendly community vibe. Residents enjoy nearby Tarrywile Park for hiking and nature, convenient I-84 access, and a growing local scene. It’s a peaceful spot with charming homes and a strong sense of community.

Getting around the neighborhood of our home in Danbury is easiest by car, the home sits just about 5 minutes (≈2 mi) from I‑84 Exit 7, providing swift access across Connecticut and into New York. There's ample driveway parking space for up to six vehicles (no garage parking), making it convenient for households with multiple cars or guests. For those using public transit, HARTransit operates fixed‐route and LOOP buses that serve nearby roads and connect with the Danbury Metro‑North rail station, offering commuter access to South Norwalk, Stamford, and Grand Central. A commuter shuttle also links to other Metro‑North stops, while local buses run evenings and weekends. For lake outings, the Lattins Cove boat launch is just a short drive away via Candlewood Lake Road.

✔ Check-In & Check-Out Extensions: Early check-in and late check-out are available for $25 per additional hour and must be requested ahead of time. Approval is subject to availability.
✔ Pets: All pets under 60 pounds are welcome with prior approval. The pet fee is $150 per pet, per stay.
✔ We are available for both Short-Term and Long-Term Stays.

GUEST GUIDELINES
✔ Check-in after 4 PM; checkout by 11 AM unless otherwise arranged.
✔ To book this property, the primary guest must be at least 25 years old. They must also be present during the stay, and only registered guests are permitted on the premises.
✔ In-home parcel deliveries accepted with prior approval. Guests are responsible for all personal items and unattended deliveries; we are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
✔ No parties, events, or unapproved visitors are allowed. A violation of this rule will result in a $1,500 fee.
✔ Smoking, vaping, or drug use is strictly prohibited on the premises. A $500 violation fee will apply, along with any additional cleaning costs if required.
✔ Pets allowed only with written approval.
✔ Guests are liable for any damage or missing items.
✔ Use outdoor amenities at your own risk.
✔ No commercial use or subletting without approval.
✔ Replacement fees will be charged for any lost keys, remotes, or gate openers.
✔ Do not move or remove furniture, décor, appliances, electronics, or amenities (e.g., hot tub, board games, etc.). Any damages, especially those caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions, will result in additional charges. Guests/Tenants are responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement of each damaged item, plus a 10% service fee applied to the invoice.
✔ The use of any items, food, or beverages that could clog, contaminate, or impact the cleanliness and proper operation of the pool or hot tubs (e.g., balloons, unauthorized toys, or trash) is strictly prohibited, if applies. A violation fee of $500 will be assessed.
✔ Report any issues within 24 hours of arrival.
✔ Unauthorized early check-in/late checkout incurs a fee equal to peak nightly rate.
✔ Cancellations and refunds follow platform policies.
✔ We recommend travel insurance. Refunds aren’t guaranteed during outages or severe weather.
✔ Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM. Neighbor complaints may lead to termination without refund.
✔ In alignment with the Department of Environmental Conservation’s efforts to prevent pollution and wildfires, any fire created outside of a designated fire pit by guests or tenants is strictly prohibited and subject to a $5,000 fine.
